Topic: A Tale of Two Bosses: The Art of Very Good and Very Bad Management

Key Content: Management Skills and Behaviours: Understanding (Very) Good and (Very)Bad Management Skills and Behaviours

A  Tale of TwoBosses, based on the book of the same name, tells the story of two Very Real Bosses and can be used as a "How-To Guide" on The Art of Management. This is a hilarious, but true, look at two completely opposite managers and how stories involving these leaders can be used to describe and demonstrate (Very) Good and (Very) Bad Management Skills and Behaviours. The stories are real, bizarre even, obscenely humorous and scary – but completely true -  and discusses how we can learn from them to truly become spectacular managers and leaders.

Each story is presented as it happens - and some can't help from being rip-roaringly  funny. The presentation of the book results in a "How To Guide" for Managers and Leaders and includes topics such as: Recruiting, Interviewing, Performance Reviews, Motivation, StrategyDevelopment, Responsibility,  Training and Coaching, Establishing Goals, Courage and Conviction, Appropriate (andInappropriate) Behaviour, Do's and Don'ts of Management, and More and More.

Testimonials

"Having Performance Management Academy work with our team was the best decision we could make. Together, we learned the importance of being a good manager – armed with useful information, practical tools and a common language to bring forward as we work to improve the quality of our interactions with one another and our staff. Our facilitator was very skilled and took every opportunity to take our comments and questions about present day situations in our work place, and put them in the context of the useful information we were learning through the course. It was interesting, engaging, and allowed us a whole new perspective on why, as managers, “how” we do something is just as important as “what” we do. I would recommend this workshop to any organization that values its employees and workplace health and productivity."
